Sayonara to Surcharges – weekend and Out-of-Hours service now more affordable

In a bid to make 24-hour care affordable, Kynoch Vets have removed the ‘Out-of-hours surcharge’ on procedures performed after 7pm and at weekends.

Having launched the 24-hour care service, and extended our opening hours at weekends at our Wokingham surgery, we’ve taken the decision to no longer charge any surcharges on fees.

This means that if your pet needs an X-ray or a blood test in the middle of the night or on a Sunday, it will no longer cost any more than during the normal working week. This amounts to savings of up to 25% on fees. In addition, consultations between 8am and 7pm on Sundays will cost the same as every other day of the week and no longer be subject to a ‘Sunday surcharge’.

We’ve invested in a team of night vets and nurses to be able to provide this service to our clients because we want your pets to receive exceptional care, no matter what time of day or night it is.

Emergencies seen between 7pm and 10pm will continue to pay an OOH consultation fee as before, which is significantly lower than other OOH providers and no more expensive than previously.

However, now that there are no OOH surcharges, it won’t be necessary to delay having further treatment or investigations on the basis of cost.

We trust that the new, and affordable, 24-hour care will give you peace of mind for your pets.
